Welcome to the GCS Walk to Edinburgh for Prostate Cancer Step Challenge!

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. And if you are over 50 or have a family history o f the disease, your risk is even higher. But the earlier you find it, the easier it is to treat.

The College have offered free PSA tests to male staff on our Wellbeing Days and following these tests, 4 men were referred for further investigation, and 3 were later diagnosed with prostate cancer. All 4 men reported having no symptoms.

So join us in a virtual walk with some friendly competition, to get active, raise awareness of Prostate Cancer and to race colleagues to be the first to reach Edinburgh.
